Legal Project Manager

Ready to elevate your project management career? Join our client’s Legal Operations team as a Legal Project Manager, leading impactful initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to drive projects to success.

This is a 1-year contract. Hybrid working model, minimum 3 days a week in-office.

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international Vancouver based apparel company and one of Vancouver’s finest! Our client is a people-centric organization and known for their collaborative team culture.

What- the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Project Manager to join our client’s Legal Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of projects led by the legal team, including both internal and cross-functional initiatives. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the business, maintain project plans, and the capability to ensure timelines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

  • Innovative and solution-orientated mindset to challenges.
  • Participate and facilitate project planning sessions acting as a thought partner and helping articulate project goals.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for legal projects, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure the right members are involved in the project discussions.
  • Provide timely updates to all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage all documents and resources related to the project, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Who – the Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • PMP and or Scrum certification considered an asset.
  • 3+ years of project management/industry work experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a legal or corporate environment.
  • Ability to manage project budgets.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Aptitude to learn and manage change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage teams with competing priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
How Much:
Hourly rate of $45-47.50/hr commensurate with experience + 4% vacation pay, if incorporated, please discuss with Swim.

Vancouver, BC.
