Mercy Ships Canada

Mercy Ships Canada (MSCA) is one of 16 National Offices affiliated with and supports the work of the charity Mercy Ships International. Founded in 1989, Mercy Ships Canada is a Canadian registered charity that mobilizes Canadians to volunteer onboard the hospital vessels and raises funds to support the program work of Mercy Ships International.

Mercy Ships International operates the Africa Mercy and the Global Mercy - the world's largest civilian hospital ships.

The programs of Mercy Ships International provide free direct medical services and education, training and advocacy that foster the development of healthcare systems in low resource settings, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa
