Job Description
6-month contract Project Manager role focused on the HRIS workstream of a global enterprise organization.
Our client has made a major shift in how they deliver people solutions to their workforce and as such are looking to add a project manager to their team. We are seeking someone with solid experience delivering complex projects (typically waterfall delivery), which are cross functional. You will be accountable for the budgets for the projects you are on. One key competency for success in this role is to be agile. We recognize that although amazing processes and documentation exist, we still need someone with self drive and be able to lead through some ambiguity. You will be responsible to plan, manage, monitor, and close/handover to operations for large projects with complex scope, multiple work streams and interdependencies. You will also effectively manage and report on risks and mitigation, scope, budget and timelines and develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives. You are organized, curious, great at facilitation and know how to get the right people involved at any given time to solve problems.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 4+ years of project management/industry work experience
- Experience working with HRIS technology transformation projects
- Familiarity with IT SDLC processes (waterfall and agile)
- Experience managing project progress, budget, milestones, communications, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define project objectives, success criteria, and business requirements
- Ability to manage project budgets including capital and expense costs
- PMP and or Scrum certification considered an asset
- Experience working with various digital human resources system architectures like Workday would be considered an asset
This role pays between $80-100 per hour.
