Job Description
Just HR has an immediate need for an experienced HR Data Analyst on a 3 month interim consulting project. We are seeking an individual with specific experience in a payroll systems, in particular ADP. The HR Data Analyst will support the VP, Human Resources to independently managing the extraction, manipulation, and enrichment of payroll data. The consultant will address inconsistencies and missing information within the current system, building a sustainable, monthly reporting structure that aligns with business needs. The consultant must be ready to operate autonomously, bringing immediate expertise to efficiently optimize payroll data accuracy and accessibility. This is a remote opportunity with occasional requirement to meet in Vancouver a few times during the project.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a robust extraction of all payroll data, assessing gaps and missing entries, particularly for offer letters, leave records, and other critical fields.
- Develop and execute a data enrichment strategy to ensure payroll records are complete, accurate, and fully compliant.
- Manipulate and align payroll data from 26 pay periods to enable accurate monthly reporting, optimizing data structuring for seamless analysis.
- Build a custom data extraction and reporting process that will allow the client to produce monthly payroll insights without requiring recalibration each period.
- Establish clear protocols for ongoing data management, ensuring consistency, completeness, and ease of access for future reporting needs.
- Generate and configure monthly payroll reports tailored to the client’s specifications using ADP's reporting tools.
- Identify and recommend system adjustments or integrations that could streamline payroll data processing and reporting.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) with payroll data systems and ADP, specializing in data extraction, transformation, and enrichment.
- High independence and self-sufficiency in managing data-related projects with minimal supervision, capable of “hitting the ground running.”
- Strong expertise in adapting payroll reporting structures, especially in converting data from 26 pay periods to monthly reporting frameworks.
- Proven ability to build and automate sustainable payroll data processes.
- Excellent communication skills for transferring knowledge and best practices to client personnel for long-term data management success.
Remuneration
- $80-85/hr
