Job Description

6 month contract Senior QA role with a growing team delivering major technology programs to a global retail organization.

  • 6-month contract Senior QA role.
  • Global enterprise organization investing majorly in technology.
  • Hybrid work environment in Vancouver, 3 days a week on site.
What & Why:

As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a Senior QA to their growing team.  You will play a key part in ensuring the quality and compliance of digital tools used to manage chemical data across their supply chain. As the senior QA, you’ll define testing strategies, drive automation efforts, and coordinate end-to-end test plans in collaboration with both business and technology stakeholders. You’ll help improve processes across the SDLC, champion best practices, and ensure systems supporting chemical compliance and product safety are robust, accurate, and scalable. This position is ideal for someone with deep QA experience and a strong understanding of enterprise and cloud-based systems, especially in a retail or supply chain context. There may be some later evening meetings to accommodate IST team members.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week on site.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 6+ years as QA Analyst or SDET; 8+ years in IT.
  • Possess expert level understanding of software development practices and project life cycles.
  • Proven experience with enterprise systems/application testing (both manual and automated).
  • Demonstrated experience of technology tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Experience with cloud technologies is essential.
  • Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Compensation:

This role pays between $50-60 per hour.
