Senior Architect

6-month Solution Architect contract opportunity building out customer centre solutions for a global brand with hybrid work

As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a Solution Architect to their team.  We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead front-end architecture and integration for customer engagement solutions, leveraging Next.js, React, Salesforce, Kafka, and omnichannel technologies to enhance digital and in-store experiences.  You will be working with a growing team to deliver some high-profile new initiatives with cutting edge technology. You are the person who is key to successful delivery, from conceptualization to operationalization. This is a great team to join as they look to grow substantially in the upcoming year.

They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 3 to 4 days a week in office.

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 10+ years of experience, comp sci degree and development experience.
• Front-End Development: Expert in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Bootstrap.
• Experience with Next.js, Rush.js, and React Query (MFE V3 stack).
• Architecture & Integration: Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, GraphQL, WebSockets, and headless CMS/eCommerce solutions.
• Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Clientelling & CRM Platforms: Experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or Experience Cloud), Tulip, NewStore, or similar platforms.
• Omnichannel & Contact Center Solutions: Knowledge of IVR, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), chatbots, messaging APIs (Twilio, Vonage), and AI-powered customer engagement tools.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, serverless computing, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of OAuth, SSO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and best practices in data security and privacy.

This role pays between $100-120 per hour.
