Job Summary

The Team
The larger System Reporting and Population Health Analytics team is a compassionate and diverse group dedicated to supporting health system performance and population health analysis. As Director of Performance Reporting, you'll lead the System Reporting part of the team, collaborating with senior economists, data analysts, and program developers to create impactful written and interactive indicator reports. The Role
In this Director, Performance Reporting role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of five, driving insightful analytics on health system performance and helping uncover the key factors behind changes in performance. You'll oversee the evolution of interactive reports and engage with senior leadership to shape priority analytic reports to address emerging issues. You'll also work closely with the Population Health team to integrate an equity lens in analyses and reporting.. This is a dynamic position where your ideas will shape actionable analytics, and you'll collaborate with experienced leaders and researchers, supporting quality improvement efforts across the BC health system. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Health Science Administration, or related degree or equivalent years of experience in health system performance reporting.
  • Experience at a senior level leading major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components.
  • Experienceestablishing collaborative relationships with executives and leading organizational change associated with implementation.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the development and implementation of complex projects.

Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Experience with Ministry of Health data.
  • Experience preparing statistical and/or analytical written reports for varying non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis and statistics.
  • Experience working on building relationships with Indigenous partners

This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to workfrom home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
