Job Summary

The Team
The Tax Administration and Compliance System (TACS) Business Analysis team is an established group made up of one (1) Senior Team Lead and eight (8) Business Analysts. This close-knit, collaborative team provides essential business analysis services to support the TACS application, ensuring the province's tax revenue is effectively administered and managed to fund vital government programs. The Role
As the Senior Team Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of business analysts, using standard business analysis tools and methodologies to lead high-profile, high-impact projects that reflect government priorities, and essential operational systems support. You'll collaborate with multiple divisions and external organizations, managing complex, interactive business processes. In this role, you'll work closely with fellow team leads on the Client Engagement Services team and throughout the branch to drive continuous improvements. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a highly collaborative and dynamic team while contributing to the organization's ongoing growth and operational advancements.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master's degree in a computer science related field and three (3) years of related experience; OR,
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field and four (4) years of related experience; OR,
  • Diploma in a computer science related field and five (5) years related experience; OR,
  • Certificate or completed post-secondary coursework in a computer science related field and six (6) years related experience; OR,
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Related experience must include the following:
  • Experience providing business analysis for key front-line systems with complex interactive business processes and multi-ministry impacts.
  • Experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems, and network components.
  • Experience in the supervision of staff.


Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Experience working with or in a cross-functional agile team developing software products.
  • Experience in the revenue and financial management sector and/or supporting applications or business processes in the revenue and financial management sector.

This position is based out of the location listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to five (5) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
