Location: Coquitlam, BC
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Bonus Potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fixed Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain and review the fixed asset register, ensuring proper depreciation schedules and asset tracking. Support inventory management and job costing to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and assist with month-end and year-end financial statement preparation.
  • Cost Control & Process Improvement: Monitor inventory costs, perform variance analysis, and recommend improvements for better cost management.
  • Audit & Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements.
  • ERP & Systems Support: Work with ERP systems and high level Excel skills.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and finance teams to improve cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
Qualifications & Experience:

✔ CPA designation or near completion preferred

✔ 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and inventory accounting
✔ Expertise in fixed asset accounting and job costing
✔ Strong knowledge of ERP systems 
✔ Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and GST filing
✔ Ability to work independently and collaborate with executive management
