The salary range for this position is: $60,000.00-$75,000.00

The life of a Post-Payroll Coordinator includes:
- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely post-payroll activities including payroll reconciliations, adjustments, and error corrections
- Payroll Accounting: Implement and document best practices in payroll accounting processes. Coding/recoding payroll transactions to GL as necessary.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Time Record Process: Importing of time-related files to payroll systems for pay processing, including on-cycle and off-cycle
- Data Validations: Review the exported data for any discrepancies or errors such as missing entries, incorrect hours, missing approvals, or duplicate records
- Record Keeping: Ensure all payroll records, including time data and payroll reports, are securely stored for future reference and compliance
- Internal Controls: Design and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks associated with payroll processes. Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. Implement corrective actions to address control deficiencies.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize payroll software and systems for efficient processing. Participate in the implementation and enhancement of payroll-related technologies
- Year-End Activities: Collaborate with the Manager and Team coordinators during year-end and assist with T4 and Benefits reconciliations
- Remittances & Reporting: Prepare remittances & payments and related reconciliation for Manager's sign-off
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assist Manager with information during internal and external audits
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll accounting.
For this role, you'll need to come equipped with:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in payroll accounting.
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with SAP payroll software and systems.
