Do you have experience in not-for-profit accounting and a passion for making an impact?

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance & Operations team in Vancouver. This role is instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, overseeing full-cycle accounting activities, and supporting the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, manage credit card transactions, and ensure timely payments within an ERP system.
Month-End and Year-End Tasks: Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, tax filings, and audits.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to address discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
Process Improvement: Contribute to digital transformation projects, ERP system implementations, and policy development.
Specialized Tasks: Reconcile donation records, manage retail sales data, and support financial initiatives that align with organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For:

Post-secondary accounting education and CPA designation (in progress).
2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within a not-for-profit or charity setting.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems is an asset.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and delivering results.

What We Offer:

A salary range of $60,000 - $69,000.
