The Next Step in Your CareerWe have an exciting opportunity for a part-time and on-site Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This role offers flexibility, requiring up to 24 hours per week, allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments.
Working closely with our leadership team and our Brisbane-based Internal L&D Lead, the primary purpose of the role is to coordinate and facilitate L&D programs for our team members which align with our business objectives and enhance the talent and capability of our team. There will be a heavy focus on L&D for our Sales department.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and facilitating comprehensive onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and processes;
- Designing and coordinating the development of learning content for various learning and organizational development initiatives - including but not limited to competency frameworks, functional learning, leadership learning, performance and talent development programs (mentoring & coaching);
- Assisting with the implementation of our performance review cycle, and promoting uptake across the business;
- Learning Management System optimization including digitalization of learning content for the group;
- Contributing to the ongoing development of an exciting and engaging learning brand and culture across the organization; and
- Assisting the STG Leadership Team in driving greater employee retention initiatives.
To qualify, you will need proven experience in L&D. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build respectful relationships across all levels are essential.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating L&D programs
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content creation
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for L&D metrics
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
