Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range
Salary Range: $71,846-$1115,129 Placement on the faculty salary scale is based on education, professional certification and experience and will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
The Opportunity
As Summer Program Coordinator for MHPS Department the faculty member is responsible for providing leadership and departmental administration that is related to faculty functions.
The faculty member in this position has:
The faculty member in this position oversees the operations of the Mental Health and Personal Support Work department. This includes, but is not limited to, the student experience, staffing, faculty functions and curriculum review and implementation. The person in this position ensures that the program and student outcomes for the Health Care Assisting program meet the BC Provincial Health Care Assistant Program curriculum. As well, they ensure that the Mental Health and Substance Use curriculum is consistently reviewed to ensure that the education and training of unregulated care providers in mental health setting is current.

Additional Information
The Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking a Summer Program Coordinator for the department of Mental Health and Personal Support Work. This position takes effect September 01, 2025 for an initial one-year term with the possibility of an extension(s) up to a maximum of three years. This position carries 1 section of time release per year during Summer Term (May- August) plus 0.75 additional HCAP release sections available for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Preference will be given to faculty who do not have conflicting commitments. Please refer to the Conflict of Interest Policy.
