Job Description
6-month contract Associate Project Manager role with a global enterprise organization.
- 6-month contract Associate Project Manager role.
- Project work which improves peak readiness for all guests .
- Hybrid work environment in downtown Vancouver, 3 days a week in office.
Our client is investing majorly into technology and looking to add a contract project manager to their growing team. Ideally you will have experience working on large-scale enterprise technology projects or programs, specifically focused on preparing for peak periods (the busiest times of the year) to ensure technology readiness to support the business, particularly within a retail company. As an Associate Program Manager on this team, you will play a pivotal role in managing, tracking, and supporting the delivery of their Peak Readiness program. This program spans across more than 60 teams each year. It is a collaborative effort spearheaded by this group which ensures our technology teams and systems are entirely prepared for the year-end holiday season (Peak) This is a great opportunity to join a team that has a well-established track record of success and strong business partnerships.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, with 3 days a week in office.
You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- Minimum 2 years experience in project coordination or management, in the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining project documentation and artifacts.
- Experience reporting Key Performance Indicators to business leaders.
- Experience with project management software (preferably Jira).
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework as it pertains to Incident, Problem, and Change Management is considered an asset.
- Experience working with ServiceNow and PagerDuty is a bonus.
This role pays between $45-50 per hour.
