Senior Accountant
Salary: $75K - $85K
Location: Vancouver, BC

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in the full accounting cycle and contribute to the financial reporting for multiple legal entities. If you are a CPA (or nearing completion) with experience in managing financial operations and are excited about contributing to an organization that values excellence, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inter-entity transactions.
Oversee fixed assets management, inventory control, and project costing.
Prepare and present consolidated and unconsolidated financial statements.
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and compliant financial transactions.
Coordinate external audit activities and maintain compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
Maintain and enhance internal controls, finance policies, and the ERP system (Oracle NetSuite).
Support the organization’s financial security through diligent internal controls.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation (completed or in progress).
4+ years of hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting, audit, or a similar role.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with non-profit or charity organizations is an asset.
