Job Description
Our client is seeking a personable and proactive Receptionist & Office Assistant to manage front-desk responsibilities, provide general office support, and serve as the welcoming face for visitors, employees, and customers. As part of the administrative team, this individual will support office operations, ensuring a smooth and professional environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a vibrant workplace. The office is located near central Surrey easy transit.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee front-desk operations, including visitor reception, attendance logs, scheduling meeting rooms, and handling phone and mail management.
- Maintain up-to-date records (mailing lists, project details, directories), coordinate internal mail, and redirect correspondence as needed.
- Collaborate with Executive, Marketing, and HR teams on distributing branded merchandise and managing office supplies to ensure well-stocked and organized workspaces.
- Coordinate catering and assist with setup for meetings, events, and bi-weekly company luncheons.
- Conduct regular office inspections to maintain functionality, organization, and an inviting atmosphere in communal areas.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, handling access cards, workspace assignments, and supply management.
- Assist the Office Manager/Executive Assistant with administrative duties, including expense reconciliation and document management.
- Embrace additional roles and projects to support company goals, embodying a bold and proactive approach.
- High school diploma required.
- Previous experience in a corporate front-desk or administrative role is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
- Comfort with technology, including the ability to troubleshoot tech issues in meeting spaces.
- Excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
