Purpose of the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our high performing Real Estate Finance Team. As the Manager, Real Estate Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis), you will be responsible for financial analyses within various Real Estate portfolios. You will provide professional and insightful analyses and recommendations to the entire Real Estate Team and enhance our reporting, systems, and processes.  If you see yourself as part of this exciting growth opportunity, we want to talk to you about joining our team. This role is based in Vancouver in our downtown Real Estate office. 

Core Responsibilities:
  • Partner in building the vision for Real Estate Finance reporting and analytics and build tools to model out and visualize portfolio insights so that the Real Estate Leadership Team can make informed, strategic portfolio decisions.
  • Conduct technical ad-hoc analyses, looking at various portfolio-level metrics in order to drive decision making. 
  • Develop and analyze various business scenarios to assist management in strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities through leveraging business intelligence tools and financial systems.
  • Conduct acquisition financial due diligence and make recommendations on acquisition decisions from a financial perspective.
  • Assist with financial planning and budgeting process through developed financial models. 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience with real estate specific background preferred. 
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, and an industry designation (CPA or CFA). 
  • Yardi software experience preferred.  
  • You have a high level of business acumen and are genuinely passionate about the real estate business.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can articulate the connection between real estate analytics and their importance for making effective business decisions. 
  • You are a critical thinker and ask great questions.
  • You are a highly skilled consultant, you care about your stakeholders’ needs, providing value through your technical expertise.
Compensation & Benefits Package

This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of $110,000-$125,000; dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
