Job Description

Position Purpose and Summary

Microserve is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team in Burnaby, BC at our Tech-Centre. In this
role your primary responsibilities include delivering computer equipment to and from our clients. This
position will typically require travel throughout Vancouver lower mainland and the surrounding area.
The role will also include product pick-ups and drop-offs with physical work involved as mentioned
below. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join our team in an entry-level role
where they will get hands-on experience in logistics. We offer onsite training, competitive pay, and a
Monday – Friday schedule with day shift hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely deliveries and exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Perform skid deliveries and handle manual unloading (hand bombing).
  • Update delivery ticket statuses in the system.
  • Assist with computer equipment moves, including loading/unloading, wrapping, moving, and
  • packing boxes as needed.
  • Retrieve surplus systems and return them for wiping.
  • Verify all deliveries for accuracy before accepting any shipments.
  • Organize and load products for delivery according to the assigned route.
  • Obtain necessary product receipt paperwork when applicable.
  • Accept and return any customer returns to the warehouse, placing products in the return area
  • with appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.


Qualifications:

  • 1 Year relative experience as a driver or in a warehouse
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Experience in dealing with customers face to face
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift certified is considered an asset


Position requirements

  • Must be able to lift 60+ lbs consistently thru the day
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to drive a 5 Tonne Cube, 1 Tonne Cube & Cargo Vans
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)
  • Must have vehicle to travel in between clients
