Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a recruit for a large-scale client working on major capital projects. Due to ongoing workload and a number of growing capacity demands our client has an immediate need for a Contracts Administrator on a 1 year renewable contract engagement. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced contracts department within a capital project environment.

Responsibilities:

Work with senior procurement and contract personnel to ensure documentation is processed in accordance with policy and procedural requirements
Pay invoices related to items procured
Liaise with project teams on deadlines and deliverables
Ensure accurate contract change orders are handled in an expedient manner

Requirements:

3 years of administration experience within a large-scale organization with complex systems and processes
Industrial construction experience is preferred
Knowledge of contract administration
Experience with financial reconciliations, project reporting, and project tracking
Exceptional written and oral communication skills to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders

Rewards:

$35-40/hr target rate
