Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a recruit for a large-scale client working on major capital projects. Due to ongoing workload and a number of growing capacity demands our client has an immediate need for a Contracts Administrator on a 1 year renewable contract engagement. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced contracts department within a capital project environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior procurement and contract personnel to ensure documentation is processed in accordance with policy and procedural requirements
  • Pay invoices related to items procured
  • Liaise with project teams on deadlines and deliverables
  • Ensure accurate contract change orders are handled in an expedient manner

Requirements:

  • 3 years of administration experience within a large-scale organization with complex systems and processes
  • Industrial construction experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of contract administration 
  •  Experience with financial reconciliations, project reporting, and project tracking
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders

Rewards:

  • $35-40/hr target rate
