Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. has been engaged to conduct a search for a Finance Transformation Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation, this individual will play a key role in modernizing and optimizing the organization’s finance operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional skilled in both high-level strategy and meticulous execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for process discovery, presenting to key stakeholders, and driving transformative change across the finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Transformation to manage large-scale projects such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Account to Record processes.
  • Develop and execute project plans for Finance Transformation initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions to enhance finance processes, systems, and analytical capabilities.
  • Lead project managers and finance leaders through specific workstreams to optimize existing workflows and processes, driving scalability for the business.
  • Prepare and present regular updates and transformation reports to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of new financial systems and processes, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), post-implementation support, training, and development.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of finance transformation efforts.
  • Contribute to discovery and automation initiatives across the finance function.
  • Act as a change agent, motivating stakeholders to adopt improved systems, processes, and capabilities.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to modernize finance functions and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in finance roles, with a focus on finance transformation, process optimization, and strategic planning. Experience with automation implementations and ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving best-in-class finance and accounting practices.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for driving change and challenging the status quo.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights that influence decision-making.
  • A strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term transformation goals with practical day-to-day challenges.
  • Strong experience in managing organizational change, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic plans.
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between finance and IT functions to support technology-driven transformation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage large-scale finance transformation projects from start to finish.

Rewards:

  • $125,000 - $135,000 + Bonus
