Our client, a well-respected non-profit organization, is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through engaging programs, social activities, and community support. Located in a historic setting by Jericho Beach, they provide a welcoming space where members can connect, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for a Communications & Administrative Coordinator to help them manage outreach, marketing, and daily operations. This role is perfect for a strong communicator who enjoys a mix of content creation, community engagement, and administrative support.
What’s in it For You:
- Location: Vancouver, BC
- Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage content for newsletters, social media, websites, and print materials.
- Plan and implement strategies to boost awareness and engagement.
- Keep members and the community informed about programs and events.
- Maintain accurate records in ClubExpress and QuickBooks.
- Manage room bookings and assist with office reception when needed.
- Support volunteers and ensure smooth office operations.
- Organize registrations and update schedules.
- Assist with planning and setting up events.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and committees.
What You Need:
- 2+ years in a non-profit, communications, or community-focused role.
- Degree or diploma in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, digital marketing, and database management (QuickBooks, Google Workspace).
- A smart proactive candidate who is Detail-oriented, adaptable, and great with people skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
