The Team

As part of this team, you'll play a crucial role in creating operational efficiencies and ensuring effective information flow, making a tangible impact on our organization and its culture.

The Role

In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operations of our administrative and contract processes while supporting and developing a talented team of three direct reports. You'll manage multiple priorities, collaborate with other programs, and have the opportunity to implement process improvements that directly impact public safety and effective land-based activities. Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in business or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience; OR
  • Coursework in business administration or contract management or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience; OR.
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Relevant experience includes:
  • Establishing and implementing standard office procedures including records management.
  • Providing administrative and financial support services for multiple programs.
  • Supervising or leading others.

Preference may be given to applicants who have one or all of the following:
  • 2 or more years of contract administration
  • Applicants who have experience with tenures administration.

Provisos:
  • Successful completion of security screening requirements of the BC Public Service, which may include a criminal records check, and/or Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA) check, and/or enhanced security screening checks as required by the ministry (Note: it is important that you read the job posting carefully to understand the specific security screening requirements pertaining to the position).
