Job Description

Welder/Fabricator: Harvey 2561

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Welder/Fabricator to work in our Sheet Metal Shop for our Afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, operate and clean welding equipment, when needed
Follow job router drawings and other written or verbal instructions
Inspect completed welds
Repair faulty products using welding procedures
Competence in operating GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding
Ability to weld various thicknesses of material
Help in other areas
Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications & requirements:

Working experience in the Manufacturing environment
Minimum C level – ticket
Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings and blueprints
Able to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum with GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG
Creative and willing to learn

Shift Availability:

Afternoons from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am
Monday to Thursday (Transit Available until 1:30 am)
Shift can be changed to 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, for transit users
Friday, Saturday, and overtime available
