Job Description
Aluminium Welder / Fabricators: Harvey 2608
We are currently seeking someone to fill the role of welder/fabricator.
Successful candidates must be experienced and punctual and must be able to perform tasks that include, but not limited to the following:
- Able to pass 3G welding certification with GMAW process
- Operate plate rolls, shear and other fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.
- Fit-up and weld parts, sub-assemblies, container vessels, etc.
- Correct and safe use of production tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Able to work overtime as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating plate rolls and overhead cranes.
- 3-5 years welding and fabricating experience
- Math, reading and writing skills
- Proficient mechanical skills
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching.
Successful candidates will receive competitive wages and benefits based upon job related experience.
Monday to Friday (6:15am to 2:30pm), not including overtime during the week and/or weekend.
This is a full-time position
Salary of $30 - $42 per hour depending on experience
