 Job Title: WEEKEND SCHEDULING ASSISTANT | #1962
Service Area: Scheduling
Location: Richmond, BC
Start Date: March 1, 2025
Term/Status: Permanent Part Time
Schedule/Hours: Saturday 6:00-14:00 // 7.5 hours per week
Hourly Wage:
$28.25 as per Collective Agreement

THE ROLE:            

The Scheduling Assistant assigns on-call shifts on a daily basis, and assists in the coordination of scheduling for the Client Services Department.

REQUIREMENTS:

 Education & Experience:

  • Minimum certificate or diploma related to Staff Scheduling.
  • Minimum one year experience in similar position or related duties.
  • Proficient in MS Office, and intranet applications; Staff Scheduling systems an asset;
  • Experience with shift management and staff scheduling activities is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with accurate processing of data and ability to detect irregularities.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
  • Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.

Standard requirements of the Weekend Scheduling Assistant include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Demonstrated competency in English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Eligible to work in Canada
