Compensation:
Salary range (in British Columbia): $60,000 - 82,600.
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.

What you can expect to do here:
General Responsibilities
- Taking a survey support role on Transportation projects
- Participating in field surveys including operation of modern survey equipment
- Participating in Survey processing and project delivery
- Willingness to Travel away from home (Typically less than 1 week)
- Safely operating and maintaining a company vehicle
Technical Responsibilities
- Topographic / Detail Surveys including transportation corridors, waterways and structures using Lidar Drones, Photogrammetry Drones, RTK GNSS, Robotic Total Stations and Scanners
- Utilizing software such as Civil 3D and TBC for point cloud processing, mapping feature extraction and quantities
- Civil 3D / AutoCAD drafting for surface models and survey plan production.
- Performing Quality Control reviews on work done by coworkers
- Providing Construction Supervision support deciphering plans, producing grade files, grade stakeout, grade checking, quality assurance, field fit designs and measuring / generating construction quantities
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Preference given to those with a Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Discipline
- Preference given to those with a minimum of 3 years of Survey experience
- We may consider candidates with greater experience, at a commensurate compensation range
