The Opportunity
WSP is seeking Intermediate to Senior Civil Design CAD Technician to support our Western Canada team in the design and delivery of water, wastewater, conveyance projects. This position will be responsible for applying Civil 3D knowledge on project work from conceptual design through to completion. You'll interface with internal and external contacts and will coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control.

What you'll bring to WSP...
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting.
• 6-10+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is mandatory.
• Highly motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic team player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible attitude are a must; and
• Capable of working independently.
Compensation
Expected Salary (British Columbia): $69 600 - $95 800
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.

What you can expect to do here:
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion.
- Through understanding in creating pipe network plan and profiles
- Experience in preparing drawings for lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with Water & Wastewater utilities adhering to company BIM/CAD standards.
- Working knowledge on Recap and InfraWorks
- Understanding of Revit modeling and functionality
- Other duties as assigned/required.
