What – the Role:
The selected Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role within the capital projects portfolio, reporting directly to the Manager of Capital Planning. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting on capital funding and expenditures, developing capital requisitions, and collaborating with programs to determine appropriate accounting treatment. Additionally, they will generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, support the Director of Capital Planning in internal and external reporting requirements, and assist in updating capital reporting processes and templates.
The Senior Financial Analyst will support all programs and services across client’s capital projects portfolio, preparing and maintaining reports, forecasting, and comparing actuals to budgets. They will be instrumental in creating new reporting structures, including periodic capital forecasting. Additionally, the SFA will validate data and assist with the submission and approval process for capital requisitions across the organization.

How Much:
Base salary commensurate with experience in the range of $86,398 - $124,197. Please note the starting salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s education and experience, following our client’s provincial compensation reference plan.

- Professional accounting designation with 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship management
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel and financial application skills
- Exceptional analytical, reporting, and critical thinking skills with the ability to comprehend complex data.
