Job Description

Our stable client in Vancouver is seeking a Temporary Senior Accountant to join their dynamic accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent CPA graduate looking to further develop their skills in a supportive, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements and support the overall financial reporting process

Oversee the approval of accounts payable (A/P) to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Maintain daily reports using Excel, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Assist with month-end close and other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

CPA designation (completed or in progress).

4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.

Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Forestry industry experience is an asset.
