Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to take charge of venting product sales, strengthen relationships with contractors and suppliers, and deliver outstanding service to customers across British Columbia and the Yukon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a talent for driving sales growth.

• $70,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
• Commission: • Uncapped commission structure
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $140,000 – $160,000 annually (Base + Commission)

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities across industrial, process, manufacturing, commercial, district energy, healthcare, and institutional sectors.

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with consultants, contractors, end users, and public sector clients.

  • Conduct technical consultations, propose customized solutions, and prepare detailed quotations using Zoho CRM and QuickBooks.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.

  • Meet or exceed an annual sales quota of $2,000,000.

  • Support and guide the estimating team to maintain performance and positive collaboration.

  • Ensure customer service expectations are met or exceeded by the Inside Sales Team.

  • Assist in setting both short- and long-term departmental goals.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars.

  • Provide feedback on market trends to support targeted marketing initiatives.

  • Offer market insights on competitors and industry developments.

  • Support internal training initiatives occasionally.

  • Research and recommend suitable products from exclusive product lines.

  • Assist with backup quoting responsibilities as needed.

  • Identify and qualify new business prospects.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Zoho CRM.

  • Attend technical meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs.

  • Prepare technical documentation and coordinate with suppliers.

  • Negotiate contracts and oversee deal closures.

  • Coordinate order fulfillment with operations to ensure client satisfaction.


What You Need: 
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems, or a related field (preferred, not required).

  • 3+ years of technical sales experience (HVAC, industrial, or mechanical systems preferred).

  • Proficiency with Zoho CRM, QuickBooks, or equivalent systems.

  • Solid technical understanding of hydronic heating, steam systems, and venting equipment.

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for travel across BC & the Yukon.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Analytical mindset and adept problem-solving.

  • Passion for customer service and technical excellence.

  • Resilient and self-motivated in fast-paced environments.
