Project Management Consultant - ERP Implementation - Remote

On behalf of our client, Brainhunter Systems Ltd. is looking to hire a Project Management Consultant to lead the delivery of an ERP Replacement Project. Our client is seeking a new ERP System to serve as a modern platform which will be the cornerstone of its digital transformation journey. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with vendor-side Project Managers to support the organization through this significant technological change.

Project Objectives - ERP Replacement Project

The overall phases of the project are listed below, and the project is currently in Phase 3A.

Phase 1 - Initiation, Procurement Strategy
• Project initiation tasks
• Procurement Strategy Defined

Phase 2 - Requirements Analysis & Planning
• Current State Analysis
• Future State Requirements
• Gap Analysis
• Non-JDE Systems & Architecture Review
• In-house Developed ASP applications
• Existing Point Solutions
• Integration Requirements

Phase 3A - RFP Development
• RFP drafting
• RFP review and approval

Phase 3B - Vendor Selection
• Proposal Development Vendor Selection

Phase 4 - Implementation
• Implementation Planning
• Change Management Planning

SCOPE OF WORK

Reporting to the CIO and working with permanent employees and consulting teams, the PM will be expected to project manage the ERP Replacement project, taking a hands on approach to ensure the project is delivered in the most cost effective manner.

Anticipated level of effort will be approximately 30 hours/ week.

Project Management

Our client views Project Management as the comprehensive management and control of all aspects of the Project throughout all phases of the Project's life cycle to achieve prescribed objectives defined in terms of time, quality, sustainability and cost. Through the application of appropriate management techniques, the Project Manager will lead and manage the efforts of the Project Team to achieve the goals and objectives of this Project. The following is the scope of Services the Proponent is expected to supply.

1. Overall project management of the ERP Replacement project including:

a. Manage the existing ERP Replacement project plan for each of the project phases;

b. Regular (weekly) team meetings with staff, consultants and project sponsors to monitor progress;

c. Workshop/ session planning and scheduling as needed.

d. Change, Decision, Risk and Issue management;

e. Manage communications and documentation in Microsoft Teams and associated SharePoint Site;

f. Stakeholder management;

g. Communications with the project team, impacted staff and management; and

h. Status reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

The proposed IT PM/ should have the following skills and attributes:
• At least four years of IT project management experience including proven track record successfully leading ERP replacement projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with project management tools, Microsoft Project and Planner are preferred.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools is preferred.
• Experience working in a government environment is preferred.
• Experience and/or certification with Change Management is preferred.
• Working Independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong workshop facilitation and interviewing skills.
• Implementation planning.
