Title of position
Network Support Technician – EV Charging Infrastructure (NOC 22220)
Job duties
- Review site layout drawings, identify optimal network hardware design and install network hardware.
- Configure cloud gateways for local network security.
- Adhere to SOC2.
- Test 4G and Wi-Fi signal strength at customer sites and provide solutions for best network performance.
- Support the configuration of EV charging stations based on customer requirements.
- Provide problem-solving services to network users.
- Diagnose problematic chargers in lab test bench.
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Research new EV charging manufacturers, technologies, and associated accessories.
Terms of employment
Position is indeterminate (permanent), full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible
Wage
$35/h
Benefits

Location of work
Our business address and various locations in Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland area depending on the jobsite address.

Skills requirements – Education and Work experience
Education:
Secondary (high) school is required
Ubiquiti wireless administrator certificate is required
Work Experience:
Min. one year of experience in Internet networking and routing experience is required
Knowledge of the EV charging industry is an asset
Language requirements:
Spoken and written English required
