Job Description

This position is responsible for the effective management of operational functions of the Facilities Services department. The Manager, Environmental Services provides leadership, professional direction, and strategic and technical guidance in the areas of but not limited to building automation, custodial services, campus furniture, and event setups, and assists with related regional facilities services issues. The incumbent will consult with the Director, Facilities Services, especially in the areas of strategic and operational planning, and will work collaboratively with the Facilities Services management team and regional campus administrators in supporting the physical operations of all campuses. 

NATURE & SCOPE:

  • Provides oversight and ensures facility efficiency while ensuring a comfortable environment which supports student success.
  • Oversees a Custodial Services team which includes a supervisor, two (2) custodial caretakers, and 18-20 custodial staff.
  • You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners.
  • You will promote a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues
