Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is seeking a Global Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement optimization for high-value contracts. This role partners with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives, drive supplier performance, and deliver strategic cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and cost optimization for large-scale agreements.
  • Act as a key liaison between procurement, operations, and executive leadership, advising on sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
  • Manage negotiations for large EPC, construction, and complex service contracts, ensuring best contracting practices.
  • Manage sourcing strategies for technical services and large-scale operations, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor market trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with corporate policies, sustainability goals, and governance frameworks.
  • Implement best practices in contract management, supplier performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and strategies to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, SCMP or a related field.
  • 5+ years managing contracts; large EPC, construction, or technical service categories.
  • 3+ years of executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and enterprise procurement systems.

Remuneration:

  • $140,000 - $180,000 + bonus
