THE DEPARTMENT

The mission of the Business Finance Department is to maximize Aritzia's financial performance and drive business objectives through strategic financial insight.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is experiencing exponential growth, and our Business Finance Department is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Finance team supporting and enabling Aritzia's Digital Business units. As a leader in the Business Finance Department, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for producing insightful financial analysis, effectively managing Aritzia's financial assets and providing senior leadership with the required information and analysis to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in Aritzia's future growth by providing strategic and innovative solutions to support various departments including departments within the Offices of the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Financial Officer in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives . THE JOB

As the Director, Business Finance, Digital, you will lead the team to:

• Plan the business in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies including, Support Division Expenses, P&Ls with a focus on labour and other expenses, and Capital Expenditures
  
• Plan, forecast, and analyze labour spend, capital expenditures, and more
  
• Proactively maximize the business' financial performance and drive smart spending through informed and fact-based business decisions
  
• Provide the Senior Leadership Team visibility into performance results with relevant and timely intelligence
  
• Guide the building of the financial infrastructure for the departments
  
• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
  

QUALIFICATIONS

The Director, Business Finance, Digital has:

• The skills and/or education that are an asset to perform in the role, including:
  
  • Extensive experience in a related role (Finance, Accounting and/or Business Analysis)
    
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
    
  • Microsoft Excel mastery

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $ 150,000 - $200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. We are always looking for top talent.
