Job Description

We have immediate openings for full-time, permanent drivers.

This position requires your own Cargo van or Cube van. (No cars, pickups, minivans or SUVs) 250 cu ft+

Pickup warehouse is on Annacis Island. Deliveries are in the GVA. Typical km/day is 150 as the routes are dense. 7 am start time, 8-10-hour days. Monday through Friday every week, steady. The commission works out to $7000-9000 per month. Cargo is office supplies, mostly paper boxes. (40 lbs.) which you will use a dolly/handcart for.

That works out to $45-$50 per hour typically. 9 Hour days.
10 free rental van days per year for when your van is in the shop.
Flexible fuel allowance.
Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
Steady work every weekday, with weekends and stat holidays off.

Requirements:

Safety Vest (Class 2), and Hard-toes Shoes/boots.
Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season)
Must provide a vehicle for the work. Cargo Van / Cube Van. (Cars and SUVs are too small and larger Cube trucks are too big. Pickups do not work for this job.)
Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
Able to lift 40+lbs multiple times per day safely with hand truck/dolly.
Have a smartphone with a data plan.
Relatively clean driver abstract.
No DUI/DWI or suspensions within five previous years.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Excellent English communication skills

Preferred:

1+ year of courier experience in the GVA.
Customer service background.
A can-do attitude.
Time management skills.
