What We Offer

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $45,000 and $55,000 annually. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

Maintain an accurate aging report and reconcile A/R balance to G/L
Record payments to customer accounts, and follow up on any discrepancies
Assist in the collection of accounts through correspondence by telephone, e-mail, letters, and statements
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, including but not limited to, accounts receivable aging, cash receipts
Reconcile customer accounts as necessary
Create credit memos as required
Respond to customer inquiries over phone and email
Ability to deal with delicate financial situations with tact and diplomacy
Ability to adapt well and establish good working relationships in a continuously changing environment
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
Some accounting knowledge required
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience in E-commerce (PayPal, Shopify) reconciliations and a manufacturing apparel environment would be an asset
ERP Systems experience: NetSuite experience an asset

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to deal with delicate financial situations with tact and diplomacy
Ability to adapt well and establish good working relationships in a continuously changing environment
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
Some accounting knowledge required
Strong problem-solving skills
