Sr. Techno-Functional Analyst - Oracle EBS (HRMS) - Contract


Details:


    • Location: Remote within Canada
    • Duration: 6-months + extension
    • Start Date: ASAP
Scope/Tasks:
    • Design, develop, test, and implement solutions within the Oracle EBS environment.
    • Provide technical support for Oracle EBS modules, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions.
    • Customize and extend Oracle EBS applications to meet business needs.
    • Conduct system analysis and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Design, develop, test, implement and support any process integration in/out of Oracle EBS with other applications such as crew scheduling, time collection, Maximo and more.
    • Implement and maintain any additional applications required for the human capital management domain such as JDxpert, Cority, ICIMS, BI Analytics and RPA solutions.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • This is a functional role - 60% functional, 40% technical
Deliverables:
Complete various operational initiatives related to HR processes such as
    • Improvement of new hire on boarding process
    • Rollout Contingent worker Functionality
    • Workforce planning short term enhancement
    • Enhance HR integration with Marine Learning System (MLS)
    • Production support of Oracle EBS and other HR related applications
Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge and hand-on experience with Oracle EBS in Human Capital Management domain including Core HR, Self-Service, payroll talent and recruitment management processes and solutions;
    • Extensive experience with various technologies utilized in Oracle EBS application such as Forms/Reports, Workflow, XML publisher, SOA gateway, open interfaces and APEX;
    • Demonstrated experience with successful implementation of COTS applications and/or individual modules and experience in configuring, testing and end-user support for COTS software;
    • Demonstrated experience with programing languages such as PL/SQL and/or Javascript;
    • Extensive experience developing data integrations utilizing various data transfer technologies, and protocols such as ftp, DB link, A-queue, SOA, EDI and XML;
    • Experience with report development for applications based on a database (Oracle and/or MS SQL) using various tools and technologies such as SQL query, XML BI, OBIEE.
    • Experience writing technical documents such as solution design, implementation/cutover and test case/scripts.
    • Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development or initiative is as asset.
    • Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications is an asset
Soft Skills:
    • Demonstrated experience successfully managing and delivering small to mid sizes of initiatives and enhancements from initiation through to implementation.
    • Demonstrated experience managing various level of end user stakeholders running meetings/communications and presenting to Business Owners and Stakeholders.
    • Solid understanding of Information Technology Service Management methodologies.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
    • An achievement oriented individual, who proposes creative and effective solutions for business opportunities and ensures the respective initiatives align with strategic business needs.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand problems, find, alternatives and approaches to come up with solutions and takes the initiative to drive a problem to resolution.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive toward results, and ensure high-quality standards and complete requirements are met.
