6-month RPA Product Manager contract opportunity building out solutions for a global brand located in Vancouver

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add an RPA Product Manager to their team to help drive the grooming and sprint planning of their enterprise RPA capability.  You will develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder input.  You will also collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, BAs, SMEs, business leaders, and other product team members, to gather requirements and feedback. You will also lead the Agile ceremonies and meetings, including sprint planning to align on priorities and set clear goals for each sprint. This is a great time to join this team and organization as they continue to scale.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and has a hybrid work environment, in office 3 days a week.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager, or in a similar role in a software development environment.
  • Experience in automation a plus
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus).

Compensation: this role pays between $70-90 per hour
