Job Description

As a Remote IT Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional technical support, troubleshooting, and system assistance to team members and clients. Working with flexible hours, you’ll help diagnose issues, implement solutions, and maintain systems to ensure high operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote IT support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems via phone, email, or chat platforms.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and software applications.
  • Assist users with system updates, installations, and technical questions.
  • Monitor IT systems for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and improve IT processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on new technologies and tools.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or technical helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools (e.g., Zendesk, TeamViewer, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing time-sensitive issues.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus.
  • High-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
