Position Summary

In accordance with the Vision, Mission, Values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health the Regional Manager, Analytics & Reporting manages a team that provide reports, insights, and analysis that meet organizational information needs. The planning, execution, and delivery of our analytics and reporting strategy and operational plans. Through effective team leadership, the Regional Manager ensures modernized, high-quality, ethical, and standards-driven enterprise analytics and reporting service.

Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Bachelor's degree in Health or Business Administration.
• Minimum seven (7) years of recent, related leadership and management experience, working within a complex environment, (preferably healthcare), including responsibility for operations at an enterprise level.
• Experience with data management including linkage, analysis, interpretation, and data systems.
• Knowledge in data governance practices and business and technology issues related to the enterprise data asset management.
• Or an equivalent combination or education, training, and experience.
• Experience with project leadership and/or PMP certification an asset.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to make presentations to groups.
• Ability to utilize a customer service approach to staff and clients.

• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of information management, business processes, technologies, and applications.
• Knowledge in data governance practices and business and technology issues related to enterprise
data asset management.
• Ability to problem solve complex issues towards creative solutions.
• Ability to set and maintain priorities, work under pressure and be results oriented.
• Ability to supervise staff.
• Diplomatic negotiation skills and the ability to influence.
• Understanding of and the ability to manage the political climate of the organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of related technical architecture and ability to translate business need into application architecture requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the project management process and the systems development life
cycle.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Health's geographic region.
