Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is looking for an experienced Procurement Analyst for a 6 month contract position with our high profile, BC based client . This role will work closely with materials management, fleet and procurement teams to ensure materials and equipment are available in a timely manner with limited warehousing space and critical timelines.

To be successful this role will require a candidate with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volume PO's with materials and equipment vendors.

Responsibilities:

Forecast raw material requirements using historical data, sales forecasts and manufacturing schedules
Inventory management and monitoring of safety stock levels
Create costing models for landed materials
Support procurement team
Manage materials and setup in ERP system
Monthly reporting
Vendor KPI management
Create process and procedures to improve operations
Requirements:
3 – 5 years’ experience in working within supply chain
Data analysis experience an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Ability to work closely with all corporate and manufacturing teams
Proven experience working within a rapidly changing, high paced organization

Rewards:

$30-40/hr.
