Operations Coordinator

Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the Coordinator will work within a team responsible for timber harvesting and delivery activities. Our Coordinators enjoy a balanced mix of field and office work while living in the Quesnel community.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordination and contract supervision of logging and hauling activities
  • Road and bridge construction, maintenance and deactivation supervision
  • Contract management including compliance with safe operating procedures, ISO/SFI certifications, health and safety programs, log quality, rate negotiations and log delivery plans
  • Acting as liaison with First Nations and government officials, or other stakeholders as required
  • Other duties as assigned, including some aspect of purchase wood, planning and silviculture

Qualifications
  • Along with a relevant degree/diploma, the applicant must have related forestry experience and possess an RPF or RFT designation, or be eligible to earn this designation in BC.
  • Be self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Have demonstrated commitment to safety and responsible forest stewardship.

Compensation Package:
  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $70,000 and $110,000.
  • Annual bonus opportunity.
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
