We are looking for a part-time Supervisor for our Mobile Department. The Mobile Field Supervisor is responsible for leading the security team and ensuring that the security services delivered on site are of a high standard. The Mobile Field Supervisor has significant knowledge of commercial security best practices so they understand what needs to be done, and how they can further improve the mobile patrols.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Mobile Supervisor is accountable to Mobile Management and responsible for the overall quality of mobile security delivery, client retention rate, departmental morale, and overall efficiency of all the Mobile Department. They are expected to represent management in a positive fashion at all times and is critical in the efficient field operation of the department, as well as responsible for monitoring all business aspects on behalf of the Clients and Paladin Mobile Management after hours. The overall environment and the strength of the mobile security program is tandem with the interest the Mobile Supervisor pays to the program and the Officers.

•Provide direction, motivation, and ongoing training to the Mobile team by setting positive examples and conducting probationary and yearly reviews.
•Provide documented, critical feedback and coaching to Mobile Officers either during their shifts, or at shift change each day.
•Ensure the completion of a Mobile Department Orientation for every officer currently working on shift.
•Ensure all standing post orders and scheduled daily activities are being performed/followed properly by the Mobile team.
•Recognize exceptional performance by Mobile Security Officers and issue accolades were due.
•Participate in progressive disciplinary meetings with Mobile Security Officers and the Security Programs Manager as required.
•Ensure memos, and notes are signed off regularly by the Mobile team, hold individuals accountable for this process and escalate, as necessary.
•Assist in the investigation of security incidents and provide necessary details through proper chain of command for follow-up with stakeholders.
•Able to respond to alarms, delegate additional tasks to the mobile team, and conduct (or delegate) hourly check-ins.
•Be available for emergency activities such as critical shift vacancies and special coverages.
•Assist in maintaining, changing, and increasing the efficiency of the Mobile runs with the Security Programs Manager.
•Help organize and facilitate monthly Mobile meetings and bring talking points related to improving the department.
•Remain available after-hours to act as a resource for emergency incidents.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:


•Have a minimum of one year of supervisory security experience in Mobile or a combination relevant experience as a Supervisor and Mobile Driver.
•Hold a valid BC Security License
•Have a BC Class 5 driver's license and able to provide a clean driver's abstract
•Strong communication both in writing and verbally
•Ability to deal with others effectively.
•High functionality in a dynamic environment.
•Demonstrated professionalism in all situations.
•Comfortable to drive a vehicle for 8 hours to conduct mobile patrol
•Confident in using technology and can use smartphones and computers.

1 part-time position

Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday 2200 - 0600
Start Date: ASAP

Site rate: $24.00/hour

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid BC Security Licence
Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
