Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Manager on Duty (MOD) to join us at The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar in Langley!

The Manager on Duty ensures all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Prior experience working in a restaurant as a Server or Bartender is required.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Leading the service teams by example and in a supervisory and supportive capacity
Making guests feel welcome and creating memorable experiences
Providing exceptional, friendly customer service
Great product knowledge
Responsible Beverage Service in accordance with Serving it Right
Maintaining cleanliness and environment standards of the Brewpub
Delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure organizational goals are met
Troubleshooting issues that arise across the Brewpub effectively
Coaching and reporting on team performance
Resolve customer complaints, requests and queries
Monitoring, contributing to, and acting on key performance indicators and other targets
Other duties as required

Your Availability

We are seeking candidates with afternoon and evening availability Monday - Sunday
Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements
Previous FOH experience working as a Server or Bartender
Valid Serving It Right Certifications
First Aid Level 1 is an asset, but not required
Positive, can-do attitude with an ability to multi-task
Strong communication and organizational skills
