Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range $31.14 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $34.96 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The Opportunity

WHAT IT TAKES

    •A Bachelor of Arts or Science in Mathematics or equivalent degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution. Some Graduate level study in Mathematics or Education is preferred.
    •At least 4 months of experience teaching college-level mathematics to groups of students.
    •Working knowledge of current mathematics software and graphing technology.
    •Demonstrated experience speaking to groups and preparing written materials and explanatory solutions for mathematics labs.
    •Good working knowledge of the English language (written and verbal).

Additional Information
These temporary part-time positions are available starting January 6, 2025 to April 30, 2025. The hours and locations are as follows:


    •15 hours per week at the Coquitlam Campus
    •15 hours per week at the New Westminster Campus
    •4 hours per week at the New Westminster Campus

Regular hours of work are between the hours of 8:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The positions are located at the New Westminster and Coquitlam campus; however, successful candidates must be available for occasional work at both the New Westminster/Coquitlam campuses.
