6-month contract iOS developer roles with a high growth team at a global enterprise organization located in Vancouver

iOS developer contract role

Hybrid work environment located in downtown Vancouver, 3 days a week in office

What & Why:
As a result of investment in mobile technology our client is looking to add multiple iOS developers to their digital team developing products for both internal users as well as end customers. You will be working in a highly cross-functional agile team delivering new functionality for apps that are used by their staff in stores to help customers in real time. If you had any Swift experience that would be a huge asset as they are leaning into Swift moving forward. This is a really exciting time to join this organization as they are investing heavily into their digital experience and are experience large scale global growth.

This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and has a hybrid work environment, in office 3 days a week.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

6+ years of engineering experience in iOS development with swift, building enterprise grade secured and scalable mobile application.
Advanced understanding of Apple mobile technologies (Swift considered an asset)
Advanced understanding of mobile app development architecture patterns
Advanced knowledge of Mobile DevOps principles and best-practices.
Working knowledge of AWS Cloud components and/or backend APIs.
Good to have working knowledge of enterprise level systems in Retail, Commerce and Payment
Experience working with bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline, or equivalent work experience

Compensation: this role pays between $75-90 per hour incorporated.
