Regular Part-time (One day per week - Tuesdays)

BC Cancer is seeking applications for a Dentist to work one day a week in the Oral Oncology/Dentistry clinic at the Surrey and future consideration of working in Abbotsford.

The Surrey Cancer Centre, located in Surrey, BC, offers a full range of services in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Hematology, Oral Oncology, Palliative care and support services such as Nutrition, Clinical Trials and Patient and Family Counseling. As a dentist at the Surrey Cancer Centre, you will be a member of an interdisciplinary team made up of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals who are passionate about providing health care to Oncology Patients.

Candidates must have a strong interest in oral oncology and strong dental skillset. Previous clinical experience with the management and treatment of Head and Neck Cancer patients and experience is preferrable.

What you'll do
  • Assess cancer patients with dental/oral pain
  • Direct patient care of post-cancer treatment patients, and
  • Resident didactic teaching and clinical supervision

Qualifications
  • Degree in DDS/DMD from an accredited academic institution.
  • Hospital based patient care is preferred
