Coordinator, Health System Innovation

Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Coordinator, Health System Innovation.

The Coordinator, Health System Innovation is responsible for the coordination of assigned initiatives related to health human resource strategies and initiatives under the direction of the Executive Director, PHHRCC. The incumbent will work with regional programs to proactively identify barriers and opportunities, facilitate decision-making, and to prepare progress reports and other deliverables. The Coordinator works with various portfolio and project teams to analyze interdependencies and timing of initiatives across program areas, and provides general project coordination support as required.

Starting salary will be approximately from $62,239 to $77,799 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Diploma in Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
• Five (5) recent related experience in quality improvement, project management, or change management preferably in a healthcare setting,
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
• Broad knowledge of project design, methodologies, and developing and managing projects.
• Intermediate level knowledge of quality improvement principles, methodologies, theory and practice.
• Knowledge of group facilitation, including in remote/virtual environments and using participatory approaches.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving to develop progressive, creative and innovative solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to present and prepare concise analyses, reports and recommendations and to consult with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels, including the ability to overcome resistance.
• Ability to foster innovation within a complex multi-stakeholder organization.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve, monitor, and report results.
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
