Job Summary

The Team:
The Adjudication Administrator Team is an established group of approximately 45 adjudicators dedicated to providing essential support through Specialized Provincial Services. This team collaborates closely with program support clerks, team leads, trainers, and program specialists focused on administering programs such as At Home Medical Benefits, Autism Funding, and Strengthening Abilities and Journeys of Empowerment (SAJE). Their work significantly impacts families and young adults across the province by ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources. Team members take pride in their collaborative environment, where their combined expertise fosters a culture of excellence in service delivery.

The Role:
As an Adjudication Administrator, you will assess eligibility under relevant Acts and program policies while initiating agreements and benefit plans/orders. This position operates within a call center environment, responding to inquiries from the public and various agencies. Your responsibilities include interpreting program policies, procedures, and requirements for parents, service providers, and the general public, as well as addressing inquiries regarding the status of applications and submissions. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum one (1) year clerical/administrative experience.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience working in a fast-paced client-service setting.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience interpreting and applying policy, legislation and regulations.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience with keyboarding, word processing and database applications.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience performing financial calculations.

Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:
  • More than one (1) year clerical/administrative experience.
  • Experience working in a call centre environment.
  • Experience using ICM (Integrated Case Management).

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 4 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
